This Privacy Policy describes how Slateli (“the app,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information — username, password, and a 4-digit recovery PIN, used to create and secure your account and to sign you in. Your username also serves as your account identifier (“User ID”) within the app.
• Order details — information you submit when requesting a pickup or delivery, such as your name, item description, pickup and delivery locations, pickup time, quantity, and any additional notes.
• Messages — text messages you send within the app to communicate about an order.
• Photos — images you choose to attach to an order request or send within a chat conversation.

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or any information beyond what you directly type or upload into the app.

3. How We Use Information

• Create and manage your account.
• Process and fulfill pickup and delivery requests.
• Enable communication between you and Dispatch, as well as any other participants you invite to a conversation.
• Maintain a record of past orders and expenses for the business.

4. How Information Is Stored

Your information is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party backend service provider. Passwords are never stored in plain text; they are securely hashed using industry-standard methods. Access to your data is controlled through security rules designed to ensure that only you, Dispatch, and anyone you explicitly invite to a conversation can see relevant order and message information.

5. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your information to third parties. Information is only shared as necessary to operate the app—for example, with Supabase, our backend infrastructure provider—or as required by law.

6. Your Choices

You may request that your account and associated data be deleted by contacting us using the information below. You may also delete individual orders directly within the app when your account has permission to do so.

7. Children’s Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
